The paranormal activity which takes place at Miss Molly's hotel leaves me thinking of other stories that were never told. I do believe in ghosts haunting this hotel. I used to think a ghost would only make a noise but could never be seen. Many different sources prove the activity of ghosts. The activities differ from apparitions, to touching; also they can never show there face but they do move objects to inform us of their presence. While investigating this haunting I felt the fear with in my skin. I could feel the hair from my arms curling. The fear is not for who they are. The fear is for what the ghost want. Many people do not believe ghost can do anything to harm the living life. Unfortionetly we dont know why they want us to acknowledge they are still here. Miss Molly's hotel is haunted. The ghost make it a place to remember a place to connect with the after life. The hauntings have left a mark, people now know what Miss Molly's is all about! The western days it was a part of, the prostitution which took place there and the women who made Miss Molly's what it was.

An investigation on video recorded shows all I need to, prove the hauntings of Miss Molly's are not just verbal accusations. The video shows how the light used to sense movement lights up once the ghost is told to make him self acknowledged by getting closer. The light gets bright and once the ghost is told to get away from the light he does the light stops blinking. To test the significance of this device the ghost cooperates. Although many people may not believe in ghost hauntings many sources prove some type of paranormal activity exist. The hauntings are inside of the hotel we may not understand why they still remain after so many years but we do know they exist.

Some people feel the presence of the ghost which haunt the hotel men have said to feel a hand touch the back of there heads once they sit in a old chair inside one of the rooms at Miss Molly's. Other people who investigate the hauntings say they have communicated with the ghost and in one of the cases a ghost which was a male asked "can you see me?" With out doubt the ghost left this world with something pending what it is we may never know but the spirits hang around and try to get a message accross. The current business owner Dawn Street-Boyd, says "one of the former house keepers quit because after cleaning a room and returning to it she would find coins." The ghost that haunt this hotel are wanting to be acknowlegded by the living. Some of the full body apparitions are said to be prostitutes and a young girl who use to live at Miss Molly's hotel.

Miss Mollys Hotel is located on 109 W Exchange Av. Which still remains in the stock yards known as the cow town. The hotel contained 7 bedrooms which were used to house rich cattlemen. Then later became a boarding house which was named palace rooms. Then the hotel went threw a prohibition period and was called the bordello in the 1940's. Finally after all of the name changes and different ownership became the Gayatte Hotel. Most of the spirits who haunt this place are said to come from the 1910 and 1940 era. Most of the vivid sightings of girls are said to be from the Bordelos days. Now the hotel has two extra rooms which now houses couples looking for a romatic getaway

This haunting caught my attention because the location of the hotel is close to where I grew up. I myself started visiting the stockyards late last year. This haunting takes place blocks away from my home. Thinking of what could have been to what exsist now brings many questions to my head. Who were the people who "entertained" in the hotel when it was Miss Molly's? What is the purpose of haunting by spirits? The experience of going to this location holds so many possible outcomes. A outcome I myself want to experience for myself. An interaction with the past life is something new to try.
